Another NBE Research Centre (NBERC) University of South Australia Colloquium concluded with a great success. It was an honour for me to be the internal keynote speaker this year talking about "crazy risk stories"!

A 90 million people country with 30 million motorbikes! Very excited to be in Hanoi Vietnam as a keynote speaker on risk management for the International Seminar on Disaster and Risk Management for Roads organised by the World Road Association (PIARC), DRVN, VIBRA, REAAA, UTC

Really enjoyed presenting at the PMI Adelaide South Australia chapter monthly event: Risks are there be aware! Full house, good discussions and plenty of ideas from the attendees!

I really enjoyed being interviewed by Hossein Derakhshanfar from PMI Adelaide on "current trends in project risk management: Risks are there... be aware!". 

Very excited to receive the Emerald Literati Award: Highly commended article 2018 for our paper: "Optimism bias within the project management context: A systematic quantitative literature review".

A great event by the AIB SA chapter! Amazing UniSA NBE School students, the future of building Industry in SA, receiving their awards. I was onoured to represent the School at this fantastic evening. Thank you AIB!

Lest we forget. Paying respect to those who followed the spirit of duty. Very honoured for being invited by the Greek Consul Mr Andreas Konstantinos Gouras to take part in the wreath laying ceremony for the Greek Independence Day at the War Memorial, Adelaide.

Great tour for our senior NTUA  Mechanical Engineering students visiting Attiko Metro SA work site at Dimotiko Theatro station in Piraeus. A rare chance to see the Tunneling Boring Machine "Ippodamos" in action! A big thank you to the colleagues Voutiritsa, Kalokairino, Asvestari, Kanari from Attiko Metro and the Contractor that offered this excellent tour! Very happy for being able to organise this for our students.

Another semester is over for under and post graduate classes in NTUA. Many thanks to the brilliant coleagues that helped me inspire our students in the classes of Project Management by presenting real world cases related to project management.

Very impressed by the TRADE LOGISTICS center (Fourlis). Many thanks to O. Efthymiou for hosting us and S. Ponis for organising the visit for our students (SIMOR/Mech/NTUA).

I was honoured to deliver a presentation to a multidisciplinary audience coming from Road Operators, Fire brigade, Police and Paramedics. The summit was organised by the Ioannina Fire Service Dept. and EGANTIA ODOS S.A. The summit was followed by a very successful drill that I had the opportunity to attend.
