171130 Attiko Metro 3Great tour for our senior NTUA  Mechanical Engineering students visiting Attiko Metro SA work site at Dimotiko Theatro station in Piraeus. A rare chance to see the Tunneling Boring Machine "Ippodamos" in action! A big thank you to the colleagues Voutiritsa, Kalokairino, Asvestari, Kanari from Attiko Metro and the Contractor that offered this excellent tour! Very happy for being able to organise this for our students.

Tunnel risk analysis summit and drill

I was honoured to deliver a presentation to a multidisciplinary audience coming from Road Operators, Fire brigade, Police and Paramedics. The summit was organised by the Ioannina Fire Service Dept. and EGANTIA ODOS S.A. The summit was followed by a very successful drill that I had the opportunity to attend.
